From today o2 have stopped distinguishing phone as either pre pay (Pay as you go) and post pay (contract) and the entire catalogue of handsets is available pay as you go (with the exception of Blackberry and Palm, Blackberry is set to launch pay and go in the coming months), this means that all are now locked to o2, and we no longer sell sim-free.
You can now though purchase HTC Desire, Sony Ericcson X10, HTC HD2, all pay as you go, not a bad proposition for those who don't want to be tied down to lengthy contracts, and allows you to take one of our excellent sim only deals, for 30day or 12 months.
Obviously some of the smart-phones aren't cheap, but finally represents another option for owning, without being tied in.
